The Shafer family is growing again, adding boy #4 (baby #5) in just two days! On the night of Shepherd's fourth birthday, I just felt like I should take a test, and here we are 9 months later. We are thrilled, and I've never seen kids so excited about gaining a new sibling.
I often look at our life and marvel at its beauty. Our family isn't perfect, but it is pretty incredible. These four kids allow me to see the world in such a sweet way, and I know their baby brother will be the same. I am so unworthy of being their parent, but so so thankful to have this job.
